How can I register for classes at the University of Zambia?

The registration procedure is as follows:

  • Await student feedback
  • Username and password requirements are the computer number as the default password and student ID as the username.
  • Click “Registration and selection of the desired courses from the list
  • After making your choice, click on “Submitted for review
  • The status switches from “Awaiting Student Input” to “Awaiting Approval” after clicking.
  • Consult your school’s HOD/Assistant Dean/Assistant Registrar regarding any missing courses, additional courses, or missing registration links.
  • Fees are computed based on the student’s study mode, academic year, program, sponsor, and country of citizenship.
  • Click “Finance” to see the amount payable for fees
  • Consult the student finance office for inappropriate fees or sponsors.
  • Visit the Dean of Students for improper lodging costs.
  • Student payments must reach the minimum amount necessary for registration status to change automatically to “Registered.”
  • Then use the “Registration” tab to print a confirmation slip.

How can I access my student portal to see the classes I need to sign up for this academic year?

  • Log into your student account to view the courses available for registration.
  • Select “My Registration” from the menu.
  • You might not see your courses on your account for several reasons.
  • Verify YOUR program, major, and year of study are accurate.

What should I do to view my billing for the current academic year?

A step in the registration process is billing. As a result, you cannot see your bill until after you’ve SUBMITTED your courses, had your course registration approved by the head of your school, and your account status is AWAITING PAYMENT.
