About SP Jain School of Global Management

SP Jain School of Global Management is a tertiary institution that offers several courses in business. It is a private-owned business school that offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree courses in business and management. The school was founded in 2004 and has since grown to become one of the important institutions in business education in the world.

SP Jain School of Global Management has four campuses so far. Its first and inaugural campus was established in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, in 2004. SP Jain School of Global Management Scholarships are partially funded scholarships which, for the most part, consist of full or partial tuition waivers worth between 3000 USD and 18000 USD. This amount is provided to the beneficiary per year, and is renewable for up to four years, providing such students continue to meet certain terms as described in their offer letter.

What does the SP Jain School of Global Management Scholarship Cover?

The SP Jain School of Global Management scholarships cover the beneficiary’s tuition in part or in full for the most part. However, on rare occasions, the school also offers housing scholarships.

SP Jain scholarships do NOT cover visa fees, living costs, course materials, insurance, etc.

How many students receive the SP Jain School of Global Management Scholarships Annually?

The number of students that receive the SP Jain School of Global Management Scholarships is at the discretion of the school’s scholarship board. There is no defined number of students to receive SP Jain scholarships annually.

Level of Study Eligible for SP Jain School of Global Management Scholarships

SP Jain School of Global Management Scholarships are open to all levels of undergraduate and postgraduate study; Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and Doctorate degree. This holds true, providing the course is offered by the school itself.

Eligibility Criteria

Like most scholarships, the SP Jain School of Global Management Scholarships have certain criteria you need to meet for you to qualify. We shall discuss them in the following section;

Merit Scholarship

  1. Undergraduate Level: Merit scholarships at undergraduate level are awarded based on the candidate’s performance in the admission interview alongside performance in prior academic reports. Excellence in other extracurricular activities (e.g. sports) also boost your chances. It is awarded to both national and international students.
  2. Postgraduate Level (Category A): Students who wish to apply here must showcase a high level of intellectual ability. To gain the Cat-A PG scholarships, you must have graduated from a top-ranked tertiary institution and have a minimum of 720 in GMAT exams, 95% in CAT/SPJET. You must also show proof of any postgraduate qualifications you’ve attained, show excellence in extra-curricular activities, and have at least 75% in each of your years of education.
  3. Postgraduate Leve (Category B): The eligibility criteria for Cat-B PG scholarships in SP Jain School of Global Management are a bit less demanding than the category A. To be eligible, you must have at least 90% on CAT and 80% on SPJAT; it has a minimum requirement of 670 for GMAT and 325 for GRE. Overall, however, your admission interview still plays a major role in your qualification.

Diversity Scholarship

The diversity scholarship is offered to students from underrepresented countries who perform outstandingly in their academics. Like the Merit scholarship, these students are chosen based on their academic history and interview performance. The panel also considers student nationality as they aim to be as diverse as possible in awarding beneficiaries.

Dean’s List Scholarship

Dean’s list scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students whose academic performance led them to be on the Dean’s List for both semesters in an academic year. Students who achieve this feat get a 10% tuition waiver for the following academic year. Some points to note for the Dean’s list scholarship are;

  • It is only renewable as long as your name continues to appear on the Dean’s list.
  • Students who already have a partial tuition waiver will get an additional 10% from this scholarship if they make the Dean’s list. However, students with full waivers will not get any additional benefits even if they continue to make the list.

SP Jain has a total tuition fee of around 45000 USD for its full program and 15000 USD for its 16-weeks onshore program in Sydney, Australia.
