UCL IRDR Scholarships: Application, Eligibility & Value

UCL IRDR Scholarships include tuition deductions offered to international students at the University College of London UCL Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction. Eligible candidates must enroll in BSc Global Humanitarian Studies, MSc in Risk Disaster and Resilience, MSc in Risk and Disaster Science, or MRes in Risk and Disaster Reduction. They will use the funds as part f tuition fees. In other words, recipients of scholarships at the University of London college Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction can not use the rewards as living stipends or accommodation.

Recipients of UCL IRDR Scholarships will get a cash prize of at least £9,000 as tuition waivers for overseas tuition fees. However, the value can increase depending on available funds. Successful candidates for scholarships at the University College of London Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction can not use them to cover accommodation or living expenses at UCL IRDR.

How many students will receive the UCL IRDR Scholarships?

Two international students will receive UCL IRDR Scholarships each year as tuition reduction or international tuition fees at the University College of London Insititute for risk and Disaster deduction. 

How long do these scholarships last?

The validity period of scholarships at UCL IRDR depends on the program and degree. Therefore, they can last up to four years, depending on the course.

UCL IRDR Scholarships are open to international students who enroll in the following programs at the university College of London. They include a BSc in Global Humanitarian Studies, MSc in Risk Disaster and Resilience, MSc in Risk and Disaster Science, and MRes in Risk and Disaster Reduction. However, eligible programs and courses for these scholarships can change each year.
