DAAD pays each intern up to 1000 Euros monthly stipend to cover the living expenses and needs related to the internship. Also, the host university for the internship program accommodates the interns.

Who is eligible to apply for RISE Germany Internship?

You can apply for this internship if you meet the criteria listed below:

  • Must be an undergraduate studying at a university/college in the United States, Canada, the UK, or Ireland in the field of biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences, or engineering (or a closely related occupation)
  • You must have spent at least two years in your undergraduate degree program.
  • You must be willing and ready to return to round up your undergraduate program after the internship.
  • You must have had excellent academic achievement in the previous sessions.

Note German Citizens who have lived outside of Germany for six years or more can apply for the internship.
