Nanzan Hirschmeier scholarship/ Nanzan Tomonokai scholarship

The scholarships apply to undergraduate and graduate international students studying at Nanzan University.

Nanzan University scholarship for the Center For Japanese Studies (CJS)

The scholarship is provided for CJS international students.


  • All applicants must be a CJS regular student for more than two semesters
  • All applicants must not be a Japanese government scholar or a government scholar in their home country
  • Applicants must have and show their Japanese student status of residence.


Successful candidates of the CJS scholarship will receive 150,000 Yen every semester.

Scholarship Benefits

It provides the students with 150,000 Yen every year or 300,000 Yen every year.
