How much are Merck KGaA Scholarships?
Merck KGaA Scholarships do not provide monetary gifts to eligible candidates. However, they train young medical doctors and graduates from Africa. These students will use the facilities to gain training in critical and underserved medical specialties. The training and programs can last up to two years, depending on the scholarship.
How many students will receive these scholarships?
There is no definite number of recipients of Merck KGaA Scholarships. However, more than 200 graduates and young doctors get a call to apply for these scholarships each year. Successful applicants will receive training from the foundation as healthy care providers in underserved medical specialties.
Are Merck KGaA Scholarships fully funded or partial scholarships?

Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants can also come from counties in Asia
- There is a preference for students and doctors from French-speaking and Portuguese-speaking and SIDS (Small Islands Developing States).

German students cannot apply for scholarships at Merck KGaA Foundation. However, they can apply for other scholarships from other sources in Germany.

Merck KGaA Scholarships are not available to undergraduate students. Only doctors and graduates from relevant fields can apply for these scholarships.
