1. Shahid Hussain Foundation Scholarship

The Shahid Hussain Foundation established in 2016, provides funding to organizations serving Lahore’s impoverished residents with healthcare or educational services. International students can attend LUMS and contribute to the LUMS through the scholarship. 

Applicants must submit a LUMS Online Admission application and fill out the form to qualify for this scholarship. By the deadline, supporting pertinent documentation must also be supplied.

For its overseas students, LUMS offers the Shahid Hussain Foundation Scholarship.

2. Need-based Tuition Fee Waivers and Loans

LUMS helps students with legitimate financial needs. Tuition fee waivers and LUMS Interest-Free loans are available for these awards at the undergraduate level.

Undergraduate need-based financial aid covers all or part of the program’s tuition costs. The level of financial help provided over the past year varies between 20% and 100%. Each academic year, these grants are reviewed based on the student’s performance and established financial need.

3. National Outreach Program

To provide exceptional students from all over Pakistan with access to top-notch education and establish LUMS as a national institution of higher learning, it began its National Outreach Program (NOP) in 2001. The scholarship program aims to recruit intelligent candidates with outstanding Matriculation and FA/FSc results into the undergraduate programs at LUMS. Scholars who meet the requirements for the NOP receive complete financial support.

Students who need financial aid and have at least 80% in their Matric or equivalent in 0 levels are eligible.

4. Merit Scholarships

For outstanding achievers and to reward good academic performance, LUMS offers its students significant merit scholarships. LUMS Merit Scholarships are in recognition of a student’s exceptional academic achievement.

First-year merit scholarships and subsequent years merit scholarships are the two categories of merit scholarships that are available.

5. Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP)

The only college in Pakistan to provide the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program is LUMS (ADB-JSP). Through this scholarship initiative, LUMS, in partnership with ADB-JSP, offers emerging members of ADB in Asia and the Pacific the chance to take advantage of the University’s esteemed MBA program.

About 140 postgraduate scholarships for studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related subjects are offered each year through the ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (JSP).

Asian Development Bank- Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP)

  • At the time of application, have at least two years of full-time professional experience
  • At the time of application, not older than 35.
  • Be willing to leave the nation after finishing their education under the program.
  • Scholarships are not available to applicants who reside or hold employment outside of their country of residence.
  • Candidates already enrolled in graduate degree programs are not supported by the ADB-JSP.

How can I make a financial aid application at LUMS?

Those candidates shortlisted for admission and who have previously consented to apply for LUMS Financial Aid through their LUMS Online Admission Application) should fully complete and submit the Online Financial Aid section along with all necessary supporting documents by the deadline.

The board prepares a document checklist based on the data supplied when the Financial Aid section of the online application has been completed and submitted. For the Committee’s review, all documents must be accurately scanned and uploaded into the admissions system.

How can I set up an account to apply for financial aid?

You do not need to create a separate account for the financial aid application because it is accessible within the admission application.

Do I need to submit all of the supporting paperwork for financial aid in physical copy after uploading them online?

No. You do not need to submit all of the documents that you have already uploaded in soft copy to the financial assistance application’s document checklist in hard copy.
