1. Kettering University Merit Scholarship

The Kettering University Merit Scholarship ranges from $8,500 to $17,500. The scholarship covers tuition fees and some living expenses. Academic achievements are the basis of awarding the scholarship.

If the applicant officially submits their test scores, the scholarship application assessment will consider high academic test scores for Merit Scholarships. Scholarships for transfer students with merit are awarded based on their GPA from a minimum of 24 credits acquired at the transfer institution. The scholarship evaluation committee will re-evaluate all accepted applications scholarship applications.

2. Affinity Scholarship

The Affinity scholarship awards up to $3,000 in scholarships to eligible applicants. The scholarship is for freshman or transfer students pursuing an undergraduate degree at Kettering University.

Eligible candidates must satisfy one or all of the following;

  • Sibling of a student at Kettering University who is presently enrolled.
  • Possess a grandparent, parent, or step-parent who attended GMI/Kettering University.
  • The scholarship will consider the demonstrated need for money.

The student must accomplish the following requirements to receive the $3,000 award. The student will receive $2,000 if they satisfy one of the requirements. The Affinity scholarship covers only tuition fees.

3. Esports Scholarship

The Esports scholarship awards $4,000 per year to students who are highly athletic performers. The scholarship is available for entry-level students willing to join the Kettering Esports team and who are active competitors. 

4. Kettering University Coding and Programming Scholarship

The Kettering University Coding and Programming Scholarship are very competitive. The award goes to freshman or transfer students who participate in or serve as mentors in competitive organizations and events related to coding, app development, hackathons, Google or Intel-sponsored computer science events, tech fests, etc.

The scholarship is renewable every year. However, the awardees must maintain outstanding performance.

5. Kettering University Mobility and Vehicle Competition Scholarship

Kettering University Mobility and Vehicle Competition Scholarship award up to $5,000 per year to students who are active participants in Square One, Shell Eco-Marathon, Autocross, Innovative Vehicle Design, or related themed events. Only freshman and transfer students are eligible for the scholarship. 

6. Account Spark STEM Scholarship Fund

Students who are first or second-generation Arab Americans are eligible for scholarships from the Account Spark STEM Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is renewable every year if the student maintains a satisfactory GPA.

The scholarship amounts from $2500 – $10,000 in value.
