Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia Scholarships: Guide

The sixth request for the Master’s Program at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia commenced in September 2022. In support of this, the Spain IBEC Master Fellowships for International Students have been made available by the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia. With the help of this scholarship, master’s students can start a career in research at the institution’s multidisciplinary research center.

Who Sponsors the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia Scholarships?

IBEC Scholarships are sponsored by the institute. IBEC does this to develop additional information in many research domains such as nanomedicine, biophysics, tissue engineering, and so on to stay on the cutting edge of engineering and life sciences.

About the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia

The Government of Catalonia, the University of Barcelona, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia established the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia in December 2005. IBEC undertakes outstanding multidisciplinary research in engineering and biological sciences to develop new knowledge by bringing together topics such as nanomedicine, biophysics, biotechnology, tissue engineering, and health information technology applications.

Overview of Catalonia

Catalonia is a Spanish autonomous community in the northeastern region. Barcelona, the capital city of Catalonia, is home to more than one-third of the country’s population. Catalan, Spanish, and Aranese are the official languages of the community. Catalonia is one of Spain’s most industrialized regions, including sectors such as automobile engineering, electronics, chemicals, and textiles. Furthermore, the region is home to several growing businesses like biotechnology, aeronautics, and recycling, which draw foreign investment. It has established a global reputation in areas such as research and development, design and engineering,

Spain’s top tourist attraction is Catalonia, which includes the city of Barcelona as well as the beaches of the Costa Brava in Girona and the Costa Daurada in Tarragona.
