Overview of EDHEC Business School 

In 1906, some businessmen with humanist ideals created the EDHEC Business School in Lille. The EDHEC Business School academic organizes its activity into five teaching and research departments.

In the past ten years, EDHEC has increased its scholarship funding in an effort to support diversity and fair chances for those seeking to pursue higher education and careers. EDHEC offers a comprehensive portfolio of degree programs created for students from diverse backgrounds at its five open-to-the-world campuses in Lille, Nice, Paris, London, and Singapore. It covers all major business disciplines in the degree programs offered by EDHEC, including management, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, data analytics, and law.

1. “Eiffel” Scholarships

French higher education schools are given Eiffel scholarships by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. These scholarships aim to draw in and aid the top international students pursuing Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

2. Areli-EDHEC Scholarship

The Areli-EDHEC Scholarship pays 75% of the tuition costs for graduate and postgraduate students from abroad. Young graduates receive academic and financial support for their career endeavors.

The Areli-EDHEC Scholarship has a three-year maximum duration for chosen candidates.

3. Bourses de l’espoir” foundation 

The Bourses de l’espoir grant allows underprivileged students to continue their education by helping them develop their professional initiatives. It offers qualifying students chosen by the foundation prizes ranging from €500 to €2,000.

If you meet the following requirements, you may be eligible to apply: 

  • A higher education or training plan starting in January 2023
  • Have lived in Hauts-de-France for at least three years
  • Be experiencing financial difficulties in continuing or finishing your studies or training
  • Be able to justify co-financing allowing you to carry out your project

4. EDHEC Merit Scholarships

EDHEC Merit Scholarships are for highly excellent students in an effort to support diversity and foster academic performance.

Merit-based awards from EDHEC include:

Honors scholarship:

First-year students who receive a distinction in the French Baccalaureate obtain an award of €8,180.

Merit Scholarships:

Students whose applications put in the top prospects for the first and third years receive €3,700 scholarship.

High Honours Scholarship:

Applicants having a cumulative GPA of 3.80 are eligible to receive €8,000.

Excellence Scholarship:

Recipients get €6,000 grant

EDHEC Academic Excellence Scholarship:

The EDHEC Academic Excellence Scholarship awardees will get up to a 50% tuition discount.

EDHEC Woman in Business Scholarship:

EDHEC Woman in Business Scholarship offers outstanding applicants up to 35% off tuition expenses.

EDHEC Cultural Diversity Scholarships:

International students who qualify for the EDHEC Cultural Diversity Scholarships receive up to 40% off their tuition costs.

EDHEC Refugee of Conflict Zone Scholarship:

Refugees or citizens of nations in conflict zones who apply for the EDHEC Refugee of Conflict Zone Scholarship are eligible for up to a 75% tuition discount.

EDHEC Make an Impact Scholarship:

The EDHEC Make an Impact Scholarship offers 35% off tuition to those who want to pursue careers that will advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

  • Applicants must hold an acceptance offer from EDHEC Business School
  • Applicant must complete the scholarship forms
  • 3.0-grade point average for the previous four semesters or six quarters of undergraduate study

Will my referees instantly receive a confirmation after sending their email letters?

No, your referees won’t receive any automated emails, only the Admissions team will send them an email confirmation later.

What is the length of the application process?

After submitting the application and file review, the review committee will notify selected candidates for an interview. Files will be sent to the selection committee for review after the interview, and the selection committee’s decision will be communicated to successful candidates via email shortly after the meeting. The sooner you apply, the quicker you’ll hear back. The entire procedure typically lasts three weeks.

Does a conditional offer qualify for a student visa application?

No, you must have a legally binding letter of enrollment from EDHEC. You must have a definite offer before applying for a student visa.

Do the EDHEC Business School Scholarship cost cover lodging on campus?

No, students are led toward inexpensive flats or student housing around the school by our office for international students. Housing and living costs are estimated to be approximately 1200 euros per month.

When should I apply to EDHEC Business School?

EDHEC International BBA applications are acceptable throughout two application sessions: one in March and one between November and January.
