EARTH University Scholarships: Eligibility and Application

EARTH University Scholarships are available to all students at EARTH University from Sub-sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. However, eligible candidates must demonstrate that they need financial help to complete a university education. This scholarship is open to 120 recipients each year. Among the students, 75% 0f applicants will be Sub_saharan Africans, while others will come from South America and the Caribbean. 

Recipients can use the award to cater for their living expenses at EARTH University, including tuition fees, transport, accommodation, and library. In addition, eligible candidates can enjoy these benefits for up to seven years, even after graduating from the university. 

The scholarship is worth USD 19.5 million for 120 students who enroll on may program at EARTH University. However, they must come from countries in Sub-sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. Interested students must apply for admission to EARTH University to qualify. 

Who sponsors EARTH University Scholarships?

Master Card sponsors scholarships at EERH University with the help of other donors, including the government, individuals, organizations, and companies. They provide funds to help students from Sub-sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean who find it difficult to undergo University education. However, EARTH University provides these awards to eligible candidates from a few countries who apply for admission to the university. 

About EARTH University

EARTH University is a private university in Costa Rica. It is a non-profitable university that offers two programs for undergraduate students in Agricultural sciences. The university focuses on developing students from Sub-sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean to become leaders in their countries and the world in general. 

EARTH University enrolls over 400 students from over 40 countries. Most of the students are women and from rural areas. Further, almost every student receives a scholarship to cover part of their tuition fees and other living expenses. 

Master Card Scholars Program

The Master Card Scholars program is the available scholarship at EARTH University. It is open to all the students at the university. However, only students who meet the EARTH University requirements can obtain this scholarship. However, about 120 students will receive the scholarship each year. The scholarship lasts for seven years. 

Recipients of these scholarships at EARTH University must be students from Sub-sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. In addition, the students must demonstrate a strong need for financial assistance. Otherwise, they will not qualify for these awards.

How much is EARTH University Scholarship?

Also known as Masters Card Scholars Program, EARTH University Scholarship provides part of the tuition fees to students from sub-Sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. Moreover, about 60% of the recipients get complete tuition waivers. Meanwhile, 75% of eligible students will be from Sub-sahara Africa, while others will be students from South America and the Caribbean. 

How many students receive these scholarships?

Masters Card Scholar Program is available to 120 students who enroll in EARTH University for undergraduate degrees in Agricultural Science. However, recipients of this award must be students from Sub-sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. Recipients can use the award for tuition fees and o cover other living expenses. 

How long does this scholarship last?

The duration of scholarships at EARTH University is seven years. Applicants will receive awards based on financial needs. And they can use it to pay their tuition fees and other expenses at the university. 

Applicable Courses

Only students from Sub-sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean can apply for this scholarship. However, applicants must enroll in an undergraduate program in Agricultural science at the university. This scholarship helps to train leaders who can transfer their countries and the world at large. Moreover, recipients can enjoy this scholarship for seven years, even after graduating from EARTH University.

Eligible Nationalities for EARTH University Scholarship

Only students from countries in Sub-sahara Africa, South America, and the Caribbean can apply for this scholarship. The countries include Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon, Niger, Chad, Benin Republic, Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, Haiti, and Paraguay. However, applicants must have a pressing need for financial assistance o complete their university education. 

Fees & Funding

Can Costa Rican students apply for scholarships at EARTH University?

Costa Rican students at EARTH University do not qualify for this scholarship. However, they can apply for other grants and awards available to local students from other sources outside the university. 

What is the deadline for admission to EARTH University?

The deadline for admission to EARTH University is usually in May. However, students will visit the school website to find the exact date o submit their applications to the university. 

What is the minimum requirement for admission to EARTH University?

The minimum requirement for admission to EARTH University is a high school degree. In addition, applicants will provide three letters of recommendation.  

What is the tuition fee at EARTH University?

The tuition fee at EARTH University is $29,000 annually. In addition, students will pay other money at the university, including accommodation, transport, and library.
